Get proteins (of a given genome) with a given enzyme annotation.

Description:

Retrieves all the proteins (of a given genome) which have been annotated with the given Enzyme. A list of all available Enzymes can be obtained using the "Existing values..." feature. If no genome is provided, all genes with the given Enzyme annotation are retrieved. This can increase the response time of the query considerably, please be patient.

Runtime:

Can take about 1 minute to retrieve all proteins of a given genomes with the given enzyme annotation. It can take about 1-2 minutes to retrieve all proteins if no genome is specified.

Input:

Details
Genome Name of the genome of interest. A genome can also be chosen from a list of available genomes using the "Existing values..." feature. If no genome is provided, all genes with the given Gene Ontology annotation are retrieved.
Enzyme Identifier or name of the Enzyme of interest. To retrieve a list of available Gene Ontology terms, the "Existing values..." feature can be used.
Examples
Genome Enzyme
Schizosaccharomyces pombe acetylglutamate kinase
Saccharomyces cerevisiae DNA ligase (ATP)
Encephalitozoon cuniculi geranyltranstransferase

Output:

Description
Returns information on the given protein with its enzyme annotation along with the MCL and OrthoMCL clusters it has been placed into.
Details
Protein ID Identifier of the protein.
Symbol Symbol of the protein.
Genome Genome the protein belongs to.
EC Number EC number of the Enzyme.
Enzyme Name Name of the Enzyme.
Alternative Enzyme Names Alternative names for the Enzyme.
MCL Cluster ID Identifier of the MCL cluster the protein has been placed in, if any.
OrthoMCL Cluster ID Identifier of the OrthoMCL cluster the protein has been placed in, if any.
Protein Sequence Sequence of the protein.
