Labmail

Some laboratories require the student to run ``labmail'' to submit their work to the archive. The purpose of this is two fold: to permit machine assisted plagiarism detection, and to keep an official record of a proportion of students' coursework. When students refuse to labmail their work for those exercises which require it, their mark is reduced to zero.

In general, labmail should be run immediately the work is marked. However, if the students are handing in work for off-line marking which may not get done for a little while, they should be encouraged to run lab-mail when it is handed in. If they do not, then ARCADE will remind them that the work requires labmailing.
