"Wedged as we are between two eternities of idleness, there is no excuse for being idle now" (Anthony Burgess)

Hi, I'm a Reader (a what?) in the School of Computer Science at The University of Manchester. I'm Director of Undergraduate Studies.

I teach on COMP27112 Computer Graphics and Image Processing and COMP37111 Advanced Computer Graphics.

I'm in the Advanced Interfaces Group. My research interests are Computer Graphics and Virtual Environments. Here's my publications list.

I lead the team running the annual UK Schools Computer Animation Competition. We want to enthuse schoolkids about Computer Science.

I'm a keen reader, writer, walker, guitarist, cruciverbalist and photographer.
