On Digital 60 Day, 20 June 2008, we celebrated the 60th birthday of the world's first stored-program digital computer, "The Baby", designed and built here at The University of Manchester, United Kingdom, in 1948.

Our full-scale photographic replica of The Baby, including a microprocessor simulator of the original machine, was on public display at The Printworks in Manchester on Saturday 1st November, from 1200-1800, as part of the Manchester Science Festival.
