The lectures of CS616 are in the first week of semester 2, that
is, in the week of the 30th of January 2006.

Prior to this week you are expected to spend 40 hours on
preparatory work.  This pre-coursework is detailed at

The references are available from the Resources Centre or the
Departmental Research Library or they are available online via
the course webpages.

Your solutions to the pre-course assignments are to be handed
in at the first lecture on the 30th of January.

If you are not as yet registered you can register for the 
course in the Student Support Office (Rm 2.3, Kilburn Building).
If you are not a student in this school you will then get an
account so that you can use the tools needed for completing the
lab exercises.
