Venue for lectures: 2.15.

Venue for lab exercises in teaching period: 2.25a.

Venues for coursework assignments: 2.25a.

Principally you can do your assignments on any machine in any student lab in the Department, provided this does not cause interference with officially scheduled classes. You can of course do the assignments outside the Department, as long as you ensure your programs compile and run on the Department's Linux machines. The benefit of doing the assignments in the Department is that demonstrators are available to help.

For this course unit you are required to hand in your work electronically via the

For full time students the deadline for submitting the coursework is Monday, the 25th of October 2004, at 12:00 noon.
Unless the are extenuating circumstamces late work will be penalised as set out in the Programme Handbook (see the Section on Assessment and examinations).

For part-time students the deadline for submitting the coursework is Tuesday, 11th of January 2005. If this is a problem please let me know.
