Resitting Examinations

If you fail the examination component of your programme, the Board of Examiners will determine which examinations you must retake in accordance with The University of Manchester progression rules are set out in the Ordinances and Regulations for the Degree of Master, Postgraduate Diploma and Postgraduate Certificate at http://www.tlso.manchester.ac.uk/degree-regulations/.

If you are required to resit any examinations then you are responsible for ensuring that you are able to attend the correct set of examinations.

An examination timetable will be sent to you before each examination period. For resit exams, you may not attend lectures and laboratory classes except by arrangement with the Head of School.

Use of language translation dictionaries in the examinations.
Students who are registered on these programmes of study are not allowed the use of a dictionary during examinations.
