There are 36 possible slots in 1.1, of which 2 are impossible (R12,R1) and 2
are not used (M9,F4) to give 32. We need 10+10+4=24 slots so there are 8
spare. However, there are also slots which can't be used: M4.
It is not sensible to have CS152/153 labs at the same time as 2nd year lab, as
they compete for Windows machines. However, they probably can be at the same
time as 1st year lab.
