Pinar Alper's Research Homepage

Hi,

I am currently working as a Research Associate (RA) within the Information Management Group at the School of Computer Science  of the University of Manchester. Prior to my RA position I did an MPhil at the department under the supervision of Prof. Carole GOBLE

I had my MSc, and BSc degrees from Middle East Technical University in Turkey.

My work concentrates around the applications of Semantic Web technologies to middleware activities in the distributed environments such as web services and service oriented Grid computing. As part of my research at IMG I have worked in the UK e-Science project myGrid and currently working in the EU-IST project OntoGrid. Details of the work that I and my colleagues have done in these projects can be found in the following publications.
