My main interest is in benchmarking microarray analysis methods. To date I have worked almost exclusively with expression arrays, mainly Affymetrix GeneChip arrays but also Illumina bead arrays. In the future I plan to be more involved with single-nucleotide polymorphism arrays (SNP chips), and in particular in benchmarking analysis methods for genome-wide association (GWA) studies.

AffyDEComp: towards a benchmark for differential expression methods (SlidesOverview). I was one of two PhD students awarded a travel bursary and a speaking slot at the EMERALD workshop at CAMDA 2007 December 13, 2007.
The Bioconductor puma package. I spoke briefly about this during the "rapid fire" session at BioSysBio 2007. Unfortunately this was cought on camera here (I'm from about 05:15 to 06:30!). I also presented a poster, an abstract of which was published by BMC Systems Biology.
Software
I maintain an R/Bioconductor package called puma (propagating uncertainty in microarray analysis)
