School of Computer Science

Eleni Michailidou

I am a PhD Student in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. My research lab is the Human Centred Web Lab which is part of the Information Management Group. I received a B.Sc. in Engineering Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from the University of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona (USA) in 2004 and a M.Sc. in Advanced Computer Science with ICT Management from the University of Manchester, in 2005.

I am now interested in Web accessibility, and specifically how we can improve visually impaired users' Web experience by understanding sighted users' Web behaviour and visual perception. My current research project, ViCRAM, is supervised by Dr Simon Harper and Sean Bechoffer.
