Awards

My work has received the following awards:

W4A Web Accessibility Challenge

The W4A’s Web Accessibility Challenge, sponsored since 2008 by Microsoft, is organised to give an opportunity to researchers and developers of advanced Web accessibility technologies for showcasing their technologies to technical leaders in academia, industry and end-users. In 2008 we received the Judges award for demonstrating how SADIe can adapt Web pages to improve access to people with visual impairments.

ACM Student Research Competition

The ACM’s Student Research Competition is an internationally recognized venue enabling undergraduate and graduate students to share research results and exchange ideas with other students, judges, and conference attendees. In 2007 we successfully progressed through rounds one, two and three at the 9th International ACM conference on Computers and Accessibility. This involved a formal presentation at the main conference and $800 prize money.
