Darren Lunn
I am an RA / PhD Student in the School of Computer Science at the University of Manchester. My research group is the Information Management Group with my supervisors being Sean Bechoffer and Dr Simon Harper. I am interested in hypermedia and the Web with a current focus on how we can make the Web more accessible to everybody, including those with disabilities and the elderly.
I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of Manchester. After that, I then decided that I wanted to do something other than computing, so went to teach English in Japan for almost 2 years. After teaching, I decided that I didn't want to teach any more and that I actually did prefer computing, so I came back to the University of Manchester and did a Masters degree in Advanced Computer Science and am currently in the process of writing up my PhD.
