Introduction

This document is aimed mainly at postgraduate students in the School who are new to laboratory demonstrating, but it's also a useful refresher for old hands.

It assumes the `normal' structure appearing in most laboratories. You might find yours is slightly different. In this case please interpret these instructions accordingly.

If you have any questions about particular laboratories, your first point of contact should be with the Laboratory Supervisor for your laboratories.

If you have further problems which the Laboratory Supervisor is not able to resolve, or you have problems with your actual allocation of laboratories then contact the Laboratory Manager for the year in question.
