Summer Teaching:
- Director of: From Individual to Collective Behaviour in Large-Scale
Complex Systems: An Interdisciplinary Summer School on Complex
Systems, The English Lake District, August 20 - 29. Now taking
applications.
- I lectured on Unsupervised Learning at The British Computer Society
Summer School on Pattern Recognition, Plymouth, UK. 2004.
- I was the director of
the 2003 Complex Systems Summer School, Santa Fe NM, USA, organized by the Santa Fe
Institute, where I also taught Adaptive Computation and Statistical
Mechanics.
- I was the co-director of the
Complex Systems Summer School run in 2002 in Budapest, where I
also taught Adaptive Computing. The Summer School was jointly
organized by the Santa Fe Institute and the Central European
University.
- I taught Supervised Learning and Reinforcement Learning in Neural
Networks at the
2002 Complex Systems Summer School in Santa Fe, NM, organized by
the Santa Fe Institute.
- I taught Genetic Algorithms in Machine Learning, at Advanced
Summer School on Machine Learning and Applications, Chania, Crete,
1999.
-
I taught Statistical Mechanics Theory of Genetic Algorithms at
the Summer School on Theoretical Aspects
of Evolutionary Computing Antwerp, 1-7 September, 1999. Here are
the
slides, and
