"Optical Microwave Synthetic Aperture Radar",
Development of the optical version of microwave synthetic aperture radar using the combination of ultra high–precision phase discriminator with a superstructure grating laser source. The new aperture radar allows three–dimensional laser microvision. Being radar in nature this microvision alleviates the shallow depth of focus—common drawback of a high-power microscope.
