I now work for Astrazeneca as a Bioinformatics Scientist, within the Oncology department. If you would like to contact me, please follow the links in the left hand frame.
As you may have guessed my name is Paul Fisher. I completed my Undergraduate degree in Nottingham, where I studied at Nottingham Trent University. I received a 2:1 level BSc. (Hons) degree in Combined Studies in Science (Biology and Computing for Science). After I completed my Undergraduate degree I undertook an Masters leve programme at the University of Manchester in 2004, studying MSc. Bioinformatics. The completion of this in 2005 led to me carrying on with my studies to doctorate level. As a result I began working towards a PhD in Bioinformatics, still at the University of Manchester, until I submitted my thesis in September 2009. During my final year of study I began work for the University of Manchester, as a Research Assistant on the SABR Ondex Project
