Automatic data integration is a challenging business. Providing cost-effective data integration has been the focus for many years in the database community. However, current data integration platforms require significant effort and human expertise to provide quality integration of heterogeneous, independently developed and maintained resources. Pay-as-you-go data integration (also referred as Dataspaces) have been a recent proposal for data integration. The vision of Dataspaces, is that the resource-intensive data integration could be obtain at a much lower cost by improving the quality of the integration over time. The integration process is characterised by intensive automation to bootstrap the integration from early stages, and utilise feedback provided by users to improve the quality of the integration and support users needs. We are looking to explore the opportunities from applying pay-as-you-go data integration principles and techniques to support views that integrate data from the Web Data that have been published as Linked Data.
