of Johannes Bauer.
I'm a recent computer science graduate. Although technically a student of the Technische Universität Dresden I wrote my thesis with great support and under the supervision of Uli Sattler within the Information Management Group of the University of Manchester.
Results of my humble efforts can be found here. The thesis is available here. A boiled-down version of my thesis was submitted to the DL workshop and accepted for poster presentation at the 22nd International Workshop on Description Logics.
Research
What research I did is related to OWL ontologies and their development using Protégé.
My activities in computer science have covered so far:
- Logic-based knowledge representation - what I'm currently doing
- Temporal logics - what I spent the better part of last semester on
- Privacy and security - which has been a topic of personal interest to me for quite a while.
Other Interests
I'm very interested in language and languages, social sciences, and philosophy in general, I try to follow politics, I love movies, music, belletristic, and lots of other stuff.
I've also enjoyed quite a number of sports including Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, swimming, cycling, running, volley ball, badminton...
Curriculum Vitae
Born 1982 in Hamburg, Germany, went to school from 1989 to 2002, served in a nursery (instead of on a battle field), been studying computer science in Dresden since 2003.
